Lorelei and I have this funny thing we do. We call Tuesday nights and Saturday nights, "Hair Washing Nights." This is because when I was little, that is what my mom called Tuesday and Saturday nights. The reason she had us wash our hair on these nights is because we went to church on Wednesday and Sunday. This is one of the things I have carried on with Lorelei. Yes, we go to church, but if I were to be honest, the real reason we do this is because it is what my mom did.
So, inquiring minds want to know. Ok, well at least one does, mine. I want to know what things do you find yourself doing because that is what
your mom did. It might have merit and a reason behind it, but the real reason is...you do it because your mom did.

Well, I just got in trouble with my husband last night for calling breasts (or even little boy nipples) chichis. It is Spanish slang and it's what we called them growing up, because that's what my mom called them growing up, because my grandmother is Mexican! His alternative is "ninnies." Soooo much better, I'm sure!
