Gingerbread Men...Well Sorta

So yesterday Lorelei and I decided to make some gingerbread cookies. Except that I wanted to incorporate her favorite dessert...red velvet...well, anything. :) I must also admit that I never was a huge fan of red velvet until Lorelei kept choosing it everywhere we went and I slowly started to become a connoisseur of sorts.

While our cookies were baking we read the Gingerbread Man. Afterwards, she read it to herself while I washed dishes (and took pictures...obviously)
