Last Friday I went to Rite Aid after work to try and pick up a few things. As I was walking in I noticed a " suspicious character" (can you tell my husband is in law enforcement) and I spoke to him on my way in the store.
When I went up to the counter to check out this man was behind the counter! The manager walked up at that exact same moment and just started fussing at him like a mom!
"What do you think you are doing?
No, sir, you don't ever go back there!
Do you hear me?"
So, he put down the things he had gathered and walked out of the store like a little boy caught doing wrong with his head bowed.
So, I say all this to say...you never know when you mom voice will come in handy!
And I thank the Lord that it ended the way it did.
