Thoughts on being Lorelei's Mommy...

I wish I could explain what it feels like to mother this child.

Constant surprises.

The other night I told her to go get ready for bed and I would be there in a minute to put her down.

When I got to the bedroom, she had a lamp on (dim lights) had turned the clock radio on to classical music (I do NOT listen to classical nor do I know how she knows how to work the clock radio), she had a book picked out, and was lounging on the bed waiting for me.

Um, ok.

And no, I don't have pictures. Our life happens too fast. I hope this little glimpse helps you see how I struggle to keep up with this child. And am loving every minute of it.

Now, if you will excuse me I must continue my search for training you know whats (don't want the weirdies on my blog) for a 21 pound little girl who thinks it is cruel and unusual punishment to wear a diaper.
