Not Me Monday

Not Me Monday is confession/therapy time. Please join in with others here who are sharing things that they did not do in the past week.

I did not run out of breast pads and was too lazy/tired to go to the store and get more and used pantyliners for a few days.

I did not forget to take a bottle to work to pump into and have to use a ziplock bag instead.

I did not think it super funny when Lorelei looked at Janet who was trying to get her to say, “Mawmaw” and say, “No.”

I did not think it was super funny when Lorelei was visiting a family member (who shall remain nameless) who has a large bottom lip. Lorelei started mimicking this face while at their house. Thankfully, no one was the wiser except for her Daddy and I.

I do not take secret delight that my child is not having an interest in solid foods and prefers her mama’s milk from the source.

I do not struggle with a root of bitterness that my child is not a typical baby after wanting a baby so long.

I do not struggle with pride as my baby is doing things at an accelerated speed.
