I never got a chance to get to the computer on Mother's Day. Imagine that with a six week old. Ha!
Mother's Day was wonderful! I know my sweet hubby would have liked to have done something special for me...I told him no since we are to one paycheck right now and paying for a few extra things like cord blood banking etc. Plus I told him he had already given me a gift...a daughter!
I am so thankful sweet Lorelei has made me a mother. Something I didn't know that I would ever get to enjoy! I spent the day mostly holding her. Napping together...feeding her...just sweet baby things.
My aunt and uncle in AZ sent me flowers for my first Mother's Day. They were beautiful and made me cry.
Lots of people called me to wish me a happy first Mother's Day. Such a special day!
My mom called me from overseas, I told her I appreciated her more as a mother now that I am doing it myself! She laughed...she has been so good to me.
